Yet a completed recording operation and a successful data-integrity check are not the same thing.
BurnSure approaches the entire process as one connected workflow, giving verification a visible place alongside preparation and writing.

The project combines Python, a Qt-based desktop interface, optical-media tooling and cryptographic hashing.
Rather than hiding the technical process entirely, BurnSure aims to present important information in a way users can understand and act upon.

BurnSure is licensed under GPL-3.0-or-later.
Development includes improvements to the desktop experience, optical-media compatibility, verification and experimental multisession support.
New functionality is evaluated through software tests and, where relevant, controlled hardware validation.
